Style icon?  Really?!  I’ve never been a believer.  Expensive labels, yes.  Great style, no.

she definitely looks like the maid, but maybe she’s dressing down to not seem gaudy in a recession.

Screw you all. michelle is of African descent, which means her body has different features than a European woman would. Michelle is gorgeous. Go to Hell.

I’ve seen the first lady up close once, at a restaurant.  this photo isn’t visually flattering, especially for people who think that more slender women are attractive.  The first lady has a powerful presence and totally commands a room. the notion that she is less “sexy” than the other two women in the photo (as the photo posting and comments is insinuating, IMO) is ridiculous.  

Perhaps there is some theory or notion about which I am unfamiliar, but Michelle Obama doesn’t look pretty for you, you look pretty for her (is about as well as I can say it) and if you don’t you feel like a lazy slob around her.
