Soros is a convenient target, just like the Koch brothers.

Soros has given a lot of money to liberal causes, just like lots of people do. this probably makes a cause appear illegitimate to those that don’t like it, i suppose? And vice versa with the Koch brothers or whoever.

it plays on stupid petty bigotries and nonsense about what people think is legitimate and illegitimate displays of public sentiment (there is no such thing as either).

I don’t think Soros personally is like cutting checks to people (for what exactly?) but also, like, lots of organizations are helping like unions and churches. You will start seeing that maybe when rallies start to get big and they want people bused around from different places, to like say DC. It will happen eventually.

I assume Americans do it because they are all awful, twisted and easily fooled people. rich people have money and you need money to do things. a rich person supporting something doesn’t automatically make it illegitimate- that goes for OWS or the Tea Party.
