There I am, walking through Greenwich Village this evening with Troy, who I worked with this summer at GSE, and these two guys walk past us. One of them looks at me and says something I don’t understand. I respond “what?” and he and his friend both say “BANG!” and laugh.
I knew it was something stupid and weird, but I wasn’t sure what, exactly, they had said. When we had left the neighborhood, Troy turned to me and asked me again if I had heard what they said. I told him I hadn’t.
Troy: “They said, ‘What’s the last thing a faggot hears?’”
and then what happened?
