- Wasn’t there some dust up during the HR3 battles a few years back when Democratic congresspeople defended by PP by saying that they included breast cancer screenings, and then PP had to come out and say it wasn’t in their main set of services but was available in a few places due to grant money? And then a bunch of anti-abortion goons seized on this and called PP liars? Well that kind of figures, doesn’t it

- The reasoning of ‘not donating to organizations under congressional investigation’ is exactly as fake and smokescreeny as people claim it is. That is some real ‘underestimating everyone’s intelligence’ shit by the Komen PR staff (which I guess is, in part, the broader mission of like every PR department, but come on guys)

- What a disappointment that that organization, with that mission, is curtailing this kind of care at a major provider of comprehensive women’s health care

- For a little while I forgot the internet echo chambers I’m on the periphery of cared about anything other than Lana Del Ray Gun or whatever so I guess the outcry has been a little refreshing in that respect
