When I see people posting their liberal self-congratulating “isn’t Barry awful for not coming out in full support of marriage equality like Uncle Joe” posts I have to wonder if any single fucking one of them has called up their cousin in Greensboro or Pilot Mountain or Asheville and put their own damn reputation out on the line. I’m not excusing Obama for his “evolving” position on marriage equality. But when people use that as a god damn excuse for not supporting him when they don’t even bother to do one god damn thing to actually change the world we live in, I wonder.

As I’ve said before. I’d much rather support a party that has a somewhat indifferent policy towards me than one that hunts me for sport. And if you conflate the two, you’re a fucking moron.
