Real Talk For A Minute RE: Wisconsin

thecallus:

Look, the fact that Walker isn’t being absolutely crushed right now should tell you that this is a very, very, very fucked up country. I don’t understand how someone who basically acts like a bumbling super villain on a campy 70’s sitcom can win an election, then likely win another. How could that nitwit fool you twice? Walker isn’t even crafty! I’m surprised that someone smart and evil like Karl Rove isn’t the Fuhrer of Wisconsin by now.

It’s absurd. I’m either four handfuls deep into the goddamn crazy pills or America is.

the american people are all awful. every single goddamned one.

Walker isn’t being crushed because we have allowed a narrative about unions to take hold, on both sides.  Ostensibly liberal Americans are ok with the demise of Unions, despite the fact they are probably the most vital single liberal allied group.  most in places like NYC where they heard that one time that someone in a Union had a really big salary.

slow, painful, suicide.

It’s bottom-feeding class envy: why should people be doing marginally better than I am? People like the Koch brothers...
