Let’s see if I can actually handle an IT conference post-college.
Btw, my least favorite thing in the world is:
*Sees new technology*
“Ohmagherd! That’s so cool! What’re the specs!?”Why? Because I really don’t care. I care about how the hell I can use your system/technology to my benefit without asking you anything at all. And if you have an API.
I also would never say, “that’s so cool!” It always sounds really forced to me.
At my new job I have to ‘reset my password’ every 90 days. This vague amorphous term actually means I have to do three things IT world. I have to reset my pc log in, my outlook and my phone. They cannot be done in random order though. And it doesn’t go smoothly.
I purposefully dragged out remote IT through retry password hell on my phone until my outlook was all synced enough. Or something.
I told her “talk to you in 90 days’s” when it was all finished.
