yes these are appeals to get others to vote for Obama. great, congrats you are an Obama ad. This is a dumb argument though. My vote for Obama doesn’t me I cum every time I hear about another drone strike, and I can safely extrapolate that for republicans- I know several who are working very hard for marriage equality. We live in a huge country with a lot of people and lots of them don’t think the same things- this is one of many arguments we are having that is no less important, and no more easily synthesized than any other.  Our definitions of rights and freedoms and what is most important are different.

I don’t see gays jumping to de-friend each other over other civil rights issues or reproductive issues. or when one of their friends tells a racist joke.

and NO, it’s not like voting for George Wallace. stop saying that before I de-friend you for equating two things that are not the same.
